SpaJuiceBar, a cold pressed organic juice and vegan cafe in Ft Lauderdale seeks to fill the position of Smoothie Barista. We are looking for a energetic and outgoing person to work as a Smoothie Barista at SpaJuiceBar. You are the first point of contact, our brand ambassador. As a Smoothie Barista, you should be able to process orders quickly and efficiently while providing excellent customer service and a positive sincere attitude. Our customers experience is optimum and we want to ensure they return because the success of their experience is your success and SpaJuiceBar's success. As a Baristas, you are responsible for educating customers about our organic juices, teas, smoothies and vegan food. Qualifications:
Smoothie Barista or waitressing experience is preferred. Knowledge of a plant-based lifestyle is a major plus. The ability to make smoothies and process customer orders on a POS register system; operate and use equipment necessary for store operation; communicate effectively with co-workers, guests and management; handle multiple tasks at one time, work varied hours and days based on business needs. The job will require an ability to stand for a long period.

• Provides excellent customer service and builds rapport with customers by learning their names and favorite beverages

• Respects peers and management by being on time for their scheduled shift and finding someone to cover shifts when they are unable to work
• Adheres to appropriate standards of behavior in the workplace and to behaviors outlined in the Employee Handbook

• Educates customers on our products and is knowledgeable of the raw lifestyle
• Responsible for knowing the juice, food and smoothie menu and how to make each item
• Will make smoothie items
• Follows health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products
• Adheres to all Company recipes and measurements • Responsible for maintaining and cleaning the wheatgrass machine and thoroughly cleaning the blender at end of each business day
• Keep work area clean and organized so that co-workers and management can locate resources and products as needed
