Food Pairing with Juice: Honey Dew Pineapple Lemongrass Juice w/ Corn on the Cob 10 Ways

As we fire up the grill, corn can be prepared in various scrumptious methods.  I found an article on the Cooking Channel site titled Corn On The Cob, 10 Ways. The suggested grilling methods to preparing corn had me thinking about the perfect juice to pair with corn.  Since it's summer, sweetness and balance are in order to blend nicely with grilled corn on the cob.

A honeydew melon, pineapple lemongrass juice is perfect with any thing that is salty, tart, sweet & spicy.  A high water content, honeydew melon is a natural diuretic that is helpful in maintaining healthy skin and blood pressure levels. Combined with a sweet pineapple packed with the trace mineral manganese. Manganese is a mineral and trace element that has many essential roles within the body. Lemongrass is a fragrant grass with many medicinal properties and is widely used in Ayurvedic and Chinese healing.  The stalk, leaves and oils have anti cancer properties and is known to heal rheumatic joints, sprains, gastric problems and flatulence.   The combination of flavors provides an amazing taste and pairs beautifully with the various corn recipes on this site.
